TYLENOL® Pediatric Product Update

Dear Healthcare Professional:

I'm pleased to announce that Infants' TYLENOL® Oral Suspension and a new cherry flavor of Children's TYLENOL® Oral Suspension are now shipping to retail stores. Infants' TYLENOL® Oral Suspension is:

  • Formulated with a new concentration of 160mg/5mL intended to standardize dosing across products.
  • Packaged with our new SimpleMeasure™ syringe that enables easy, accurate dosing.

To help you communicate proper use and dosing of our products to staff and parents, the following materials are now available on TylenolProfessional.com:

  • Updated TYLENOL® dosing chart
    Professional reference version that includes recommended dosing for infants under 2 years of age and under 24 pounds.

Also, I would like to thank you for your continued efforts throughout the transition to single concentration.

As a reminder, some brands on store shelves or in home medicine cabinets may still contain the old concentration (80mg/0.8mL). In consultations with parents and caregivers, verify which product they plan to use before providing dosing instructions. At this point, all pediatric TYLENOL® Oral Suspension products in stores are the same concentration (160mg/5mL).
